Bio
"I got my start in high school after a newspaper photographer spoke to our class about how photography is used to communicate and better the community" Barbara says. "I was so inspired that I took photos for our community newspaper that very week and they ran on the front page. That was in 1977 and I've never looked back."
Barbara says she is still inspired to" make a difference" through her photography. Current projects include providing New York's Calvary Hospital, a world-renowed hospice care center, with photos for their annual report and launching HealthcarePhotos.com, her own stock photo web site...a stock photo website specializing in medical photography, with an emphasis on cultural diversity."
